We see nowadays people instigate sensitive topics like cast, religion, sex, politics, on Social media ( Facebook and Twitter) predominantly, and a lot of people fighting on these topics.

People with a different point of view always clash and later the discussion/fight goes on till eternity. sometimes it is even seen that the comment section of a social media post does not discuss the actual content, rather it will be flooded with hate speech, and human-religion targeting is visible.

Why is the above happening?

People have a lot of interest in sneaking what is happening in other’s life, it can be seen that TV shows like Big Brother/Big Boss gets a high TRP compared to entire TV channel like Discovery which focuses on knowledge building.

This has created a stir among the masses and people are following the lives of these so-called celebrities by creating controversy.

How to stop this hate fire?

Don’t retaliate. yes, that's true, by not responding to these people you are actually rejecting social media’s algorithm of popularity.

Generally, as a Human, we get agitated when we see such posts and tend to comment against them or to prove the truth, but we are actually promoting them to post more and the more you argue, they instill to fight more.

The moment you ignore such posts, they become lost in the world of the web, and on the contrary, the more you respond to them, you are encouraging these people to publish more posts and images.

Social Media is not a dump yard

Yes, social media is not a place to spread hatred or get in a fight with random people but a place to gain knowledge, have some fun, get inspiration, and feedbacks.

Social Media is an amazing platform for both your personal and professional life, as its a great way to interact and meet your friends, and its a great way to promote your business locally and globally.

Social media has brought the world to user's smartphones, by creating awareness about what is happening in the world.

if you are not using it wisely then you are an analog brain in this digital world.

The above statement is the reason why people take LinkedIn, Pinterest more seriously compared to Instagram and Twitter, users on platforms like Medium and Quora are growing daily and people started boycotting TIKTOK, as people who love to share knowledge are driving to these platforms and leaving behind fights and anxiety.

Social media has its own Pros and Cons, limit its usage, and see the changes in life.
