A Walk on the Duffins South Trail in a Freezing -18 Degree Celsius Temperature Outside
And, I enjoyed a beautiful walk
I was feeling down today. It was so frustrating that I had to get out of my home, alone, and find some peace outside.
Not surprisingly, I took the day off immediately when I felt that today was not a typical day to carry on with the emotional bundles. My partner told me not to feel burdened with anything and go outside amongst nature.
I had to, and I did.
I searched Google Maps, set the course, drove, parked the car, and embraced the trail with a -18 degree Celsius greeting.
It was quiet.
It was peaceful.

When I arrived, I only heard the gentle waves of Lake Ontario, nothing else. No sound of cars or buses, no chatters in the park, only nature was murmuring in the silence.

For a moment, I thought, how would it feel like if I took a shower in the lake water in this freaking cold!
It was just a thought, though!

A peaceful bliss on the gentle water, serene and soundless!

It was snowing a bit today and then stopped for some moments. There was not much snow on the trail. So, it was a pleasant walk altogether.

It was sudden, but it was a much-needed walk. Perhaps, I will embrace more of these sudden winter trail walks in the coming days; who knows!
I also captured some motion pictures (videos), and here is a compilation of those in the following.
