A Visit to Konoko Falls Jamaica Is a Sweet Island Treat
We took a family trip and enjoyed another piece of paradise.

While not as world-renowned as the fantastic Dunn’s River Falls, Konoko Falls & Park is another island treasure in beautiful Jamaica. Tucked away in the tourist Mecca that is Ocho Rios and not far away from Dunn’s River Falls, Konoko Falls (an almost hidden treasure) can be found.
On a sunny Tuesday, we took a trip with the boys and enjoyed the experience of climbing the falls and checking out the mini zoo, boasting a variety of species.

The tour guide was kind enough to allow the boys to each name a fish. He also challenged them to mark said fish and be able to identify the ones they named upon return.
Stay tuned for the results of this experiment.

At the top of the falls, there lies a small circular pool. The boys took a victory lap for having made it to the top.

I ranked the falls as one that is easily accessible and not a challenge to climb. And yes, my shirt says, “sometimes I amaze even myself .”
Just saying :))

How many birds have you counted? Please share in the comments.

Besides the Falls, there are various reptiles and botanical plants with interesting facts and history.
Here’s to hoping you enjoyed this visual treat. Also, should you happen to find yourself on the island one of these days, I invite you to plan a trip to Konoko Falls & Park.
And per adventure, you cannot take such an adventure; I invite you to enjoy vicariously through my picture stories.
