A very common question people ask me is how do I Stay motivated every day.

Let’s be honest, staying motivated every day can feel like trying to herd cats.

It’s a constant battle, and sometimes you just wanna throw in the towel and nap under a blanket fort forever.

Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.

Today I’m going to share some battle-tested tips that I use to stay motivated, even on those days when the couch seems to have a magnetic pull.

Tip #1: Surround yourself with positive peeps:

You know that saying, “you are the company you keep”?

Well, it turns out there’s some truth to it.

Just like yawning is contagious (seriously, try not to yawn while reading this!), so are attitudes and behaviors.

So, ditch the energy vampires and surround yourself with people who lift you up, inspire you, and believe in you.

These are the cheerleaders who will high-five your wins and pick you up when you stumble.

They’ll be your hype squad, your accountability partners, and your personal cheerleaders all rolled into one.

Talk about a superhero squad! ‍

Tip #2: Dig deep and find your “why”:

Think about your goals.

Why are you chasing them in the first place?

Is it to travel the world, learn a new language, or finally master that sourdough bread recipe?

(Because seriously, that bread is life!)

Whatever your “why” is, write it down, stick it on your mirror, or set it as your phone wallpaper.

Having a constant reminder of your purpose can be a powerful motivator when you’re feeling lost or uninspired.

Tip #3: Routine is your friend (not your enemy):

We all have those days where we wake up feeling like a zombie who forgot how to human.

But guess what?

Having a consistent routine can help you kickstart your day and get things done, even when you’re feeling less than stellar.

Think of your routine as your personal launchpad.

It could involve a morning workout, journaling, or simply making your bed (adulting, I know, but trust me, it makes a difference!).

By creating a structure for your day, you’ll be setting yourself up for success, even on autopilot.

Tip #4: Celebrate the small wins:

Listen, reaching your goals is a marathon, not a sprint.

So, don’t just wait for the finish line to celebrate.

Take the time to acknowledge and appreciate your progress along the way, no matter how small it may seem.

Did you wake up 10 minutes earlier than usual? High five yourself!

Did you finally finish that chapter of your book?

Treat yourself to a dance break! (Just be sure to warn your neighbors first, unless you want a starring role in their next TikTok video.)

Tip #5: Get organized, conquer the chaos:

Feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list?

You’re not alone.

But here’s the thing: a messy to-do list is like a tangled ball of yarn – it’s frustrating, time-consuming, and frankly, impossible to work with.

To avoid the yarn-ball effect, get organized!

Use a planner, a productivity app, or even sticky notes on your wall – whatever works for you.

By keeping your tasks organized and prioritized, you’ll feel more in control and less likely to get bogged down by the chaos.

Remember, staying motivated is a journey, not a destination.

There will be bumps along the road, but by following these tips and finding what works best for you.

You can keep yourself moving forward and crush your goals, one step at a time!
