As a mindful pussycat I examine my motivation as often as I can.
Before I arise in the morning — I plan a nonviolent peace-loving day.
At night — while looking at the moon — I reflect on what I did during the day.
As a wee pussycat I realize I have suffering in my life — just like others.
Naturally there is physical and mental pain which I seek to avoid — such as sickness, aging, and death (even though I have nine lives).
There are temporary experiences: eating good food (Fremantle Sardines) — these are pleasurable — but if eaten every day — they become tiresome.
When this occurs, we must reflect on the fact that essence of that pleasure reveals itself — and attachment to such superficial pleasures will bring boredom and suffering.
As a wee pussycat — not everything is within my control and may depend on karmic and emotional influences.
Its beneficil to Meditate on who I realistically am (a wee pussycat) through self-observation: fur, pointy ears blood, flesh, bone, and claws etc.
We should realize we are sentient beings — and not AI robots or plastic forms of happiness.
As a wee pussycat, I try to grin and keep a positive attitude in the face of difficulties — e.g. — my human tries to dose me with anti-flea and worm chemicals — in fact — this is for my own good — and then realize that all sentient beings must have similar experiences at one time or another.
Be mindful of the positive and negative effects of lust, anger, jealousy, and hatred. Repeated analysis of anger will conclude that there are only disadvantages to this emotion — which we come to realize are in fact pathetic and senseless.
This realization will cause anger to gradually diminish.
Now being more mindful of suffering — the cause and the effect of the suffering — my pussycat brain now realizes that suffering is basically ignorance of the true nature of people, dogs, and things — and that lust, hatred etc. are based on this ignorance.
Then dear readers, we can understand that suffering can be eliminated into the sphere of this mindful reality.
This cessation of suffering comes from the moral mindfulness of meditation and wisdom — the true path.
Dear readers, may you be blessed with a strong desire not to harm others — verbally or physically - no matter how much you may have suffered from other sentient beings e.g. chased by a dog, bullied by young boys, embarrassed by cruel responses on Medium and ripped off by those who pretend to read your work — when all they do is clap and run like thieves etc.
Now dear readers — take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath and recite after me: Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
MeooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW for now dear readers
Until next time
