A Short List of Useful Marketing Tips & Hacks (part 1)
Getting to know your consumer and audience is vital to run a successful marketing and promotional campaign. No product is for everyone.

1. I believe that the key is quality over quantity. I know that some of us put blogs and videos out there every day, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that the quality is always high. When it comes to it always prioritise quality over quantity. In the long run, it can only benefit you.
2. Understand your product and what you are offering; how different your product is to this offered by your competition. Maybe you can point out the differences between your product and your competitors’.
3. Who are you targeting with your marketing and promotional campaign? Do you know the audience you are targeting?
4. Segmenting the market to connect with your audience can help their experience:
— demographics: age, gender, — geography: where do people live, — household size,
- lifestyles, — activities.
You need to know who you are talking to before you start putting all the energy, content and products out there.
5. To position yourself or your product to a particular target audience/customer, you need to show them how you can help them solve whatever problem they have or how different your solution is to those offered by others.
6. Do you know what exactly is your product?
7. Think about:
— How to deliver happiness to your clients? — What levels of products you are offering? — What your brand conveys to your consumers? — Do you understand the story behind your brand?
— How do you see your brand and product? — How do your clients see you and your product?
8. How are you going to distribute your product? Is your product digital or physical? If physical how is it going to be stored and where?
9. Marketing and promotion of products, brands and ideas are all about storytelling. Tell the captivating story to your audience, and they will love you and your brand for that. Be authentic in your storytelling.
10. Standing for something more than just your offering can only help you. The idea behind my feature film “Anna & Modern Day Slavery” was to create awareness amongst the general public about sex and human trafficking that happens everywhere and directly affects at least 50 million people globally.
11. Use different ways and different tools to market and promote your content, to reach various audiences and clients.
12. See how you can engage with your audience by offering freebies and how that could impact your brand and market position.
13. Use the case studies as a marketing tool to benefit your audience and potential clients.
