A Toddler Plans Her Family Vacation

This is what happens when a toddler plans her family’s vacation.

I’m going on vacation to the San Francisco Bay. So I’m packing my suitcase and I’ll be on my way. I’m loading my luggage right now With all my favorite toys and some chow. I’m packing smart. On my trip I’ll have Twinkies, Chanukah gelt and a Pop Tart.

Mommy always says I should eat healthy So I’m bringing broccoli.

Getting to San Francisco Takes a while don’t you know. I looked on Daddy’s wall map And I’m telling you so.

Walking from Boston To Califor-nay Will take 20 minutes possibly less. Maybe half a day.

Mommy says that when you travel It’s good to bring a story. ’Cause I ain’t learn’d to read yet I’ll bring Raggedy Ann To do it for me.

I like to keep busy when I’m away on land or at sea Just like mommy. So I’ll bring all my dolls, finger puppets and a slinky. Just in case, I’m filling my purse with candy.

Since I’m allergic to bees I’m taking my sling shot to protect me.

Now that I’ve added my teddy bear I can close up the zipper.

Mmmmf. Mmmmmf. That was tough! Thinking about it, preparing for this trip is kinda rough!

This suit case is pretty heavy: 100 kilograms It weighs twice as much as me and all Daddy’s stories on Instagram.

If I set it upright, so it stands I can just barely touch the top with the tip of my hand.

It’s a good thing daddy’s already packed ’cause I’m too tiny To take this big ole thing with me.

Now that I see how hard it is to get ready for a trip I want to make it easier for mom and dad to go on a zip.

I’ll just hop into this here duffle bag pack. So daddy can relax Instead of carrying me on his shoulders like a potato sack.
