A Thank You Note To You All
“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.” — Helen Keller

“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.” — C.S. Lewis
In the past 14 days, my world has been turned upside down due to the coronavirus. I was tested positive along with my parents but we never lost hope. When I started sharing my journey here with you all I felt blessed and extremely lucky.
I am writing this note for you all to let you know how much people can heal us virtually during these tough times and how we can reach out to one another without an iota of doubt. Also, it is not necessarily your dear ones who you get to see every day that could get you back on the track because for me you all have made me feel very special and beautiful from inside.
Thank you to each one of you for keeping an eye on me and my parents. Thank you for sending me blessings, positive and healing vibes. Thank you for knocking on my door at other social media apps to make me realize that I have been remembered by you and you are keeping me in your prayers. Thank you for making me feel alive when I was feeling dead due to a high fever of around 102 and 103.
Thank you for letting me know if I disappear tomorrow you guys are going to miss me. Your presence equally means a lot to me like mine has meant the world to you guys. Thank you for making me a part of your world. I am healing. I am recovering so are my parents. We have lots of weaknesses but then it will take its time.
Today, I have cleaned my house and helped my mother in the kitchen. I am going to follow the same ritual for the coming weeks and by the grace of God, we may be back to our normal routine starting the first week of May.
To give you an update on our health we have been declared asymptomatic and we have taken a pledge at home not to go outside unless it’s very urgent. I am going to get groceries for my parents and make sure my parents get immense rest and don’t get exposed to the virus again.
Thank you everyone for your kind words and smiles my way. I love each one of you and sending you all the great vibes in this whole world.
And thanking Trista Signe Ainsworth for this wonderful and heartwarming prompt. I love you, my friend.
