Prompt: what are the things we should celebrate together?

First steps into A new decade. Hopes and aspirations Set in motion.

Breathe. Everything grinds To a stop. Halt.

Days bled into weeks Weeks into months The halt began To take its toll, Disturbing to stay still, Danger lurking outside. Mind shape-shifting, Great this moment, Barely holding on the next.

Fast forward. Weaving with words, a tent of solitude and peace In the chaos. Knitting together What was left of sanity.

2020 has been a wild year to say the least but, I believe in celebrating the flickers of hope despite how the year has gone.

Thanks for the thoughtful prompt Lucy The Eggcademic (she/her)

Celebrating life, indescribable peace and the art of writing.
