January Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Fun”

Playing dead is the best fun

I, Rotto think it’s fun to play dead. Check out my sagging upper lip. I thought it was a nice touch. I, Rotto, even had a single fang hanging out if you looked at the right angle. That was my Rott-signal to my people that I was playing pretend. Just having a laugh.

But my people didn’t see my single fang. I, Rotto, was so still they thought I was dead for real.

Do you know what happened next?

They took a crime scene photo, turned off the lights, and LEFT ME. Then I heard a whispered conversation about giving my toys to her, Chilli.

I, Rotto, wasn’t having fun anymore, so I sprang back to life to save my toys.

Rotto is a five-year-old Staffy Kelpie cross. He lives with his two favorite people and his sister Chilli, a Red Heeler. He doesn't like to share his toys with his sister.
