A Sun-Soaked Afternoon Hike on the Ajax Waterfront Trail (A Part of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail)

Nature exploration

It’s been a while since I explored a new hiking route nearby my place.

So, last weekend, I went to roam around the Rotary park at ‘Duffins Creek,’ which includes a part of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail.

This trail is approximately 3,600 km long, stretching from the Prince Township, west of Marie, to the Québec border of Canada. With numerous inter-connected routes, this is one of the most beautiful trails in Canada. This part of the Great Lakes Waterfront trail is called Ajax Waterfront Trail and is approximately 13 km long.

There wasn’t that much of a crowd. And the summer was there to cheer.

So, I started roaming around and taking pictures along the route.

Clean green pathways, right!

I assure you, the place soon started filling up.

*Caption: Around.

Green valley, sun-reflected hue, blue sky, and the beach on the horizon! Nature truly is astounding that mesmerizes us with its essence.

*Caption: Colors.

Leaves can be green, sun-glittered, and sometimes hoist maroon colors.

*Caption: Elegance.

Do I love black and white photography?

Of course, I do.

B/W photography can bring out elegance within a simplistic landscape.

The evening is a strange time. The sun starts to retire in the west, and the reflections start changing. The shadow, the angles, and the reflections on the horizon all begin to transform and paint a unique scene.

The layers on the horizon become just amazing!

*Caption: About to come home!

The birds make their final playful acts before the night happens! Then, hearing the splash of lake waves, some of them started to return to their nest while they could still find their way back.

Just imagining!

*Caption: Golden.

And then the sun disappears in the background, leaving a fantastic tone in the sky!

It was such a beautiful day!

You can explore the following video, which captured some of those motions.
