A Spring In Our Step
Oh the joy new life brings
The Joy of Spring — Let Me Count The Ways!
Today is the first day of spring!
The air is crisp, clean, and delightful.
Folks are outdoors making the first din that comes with warmer weather.
Last night a raging rain fell, it seemed to be putting the finishing touches to the winter blues.
Giving us a bright clean canvas to record the new season.
Winter has done its work for now.
Did the cleansing as it rid the earth of those things past their useful stage.
The leaves fall, trees go into hibernation, the world, animals, plants and even people retreat into ourselves.
Winter represents a time for introspection and reflection.
The leaves and other broken things fall to the earth and begin a process that lends itself to renewal and growth.
Elements of nature further allow for the byproducts to return to their elemental state that will allow for uptake and use by new lives.
The rains and the snow finally complete the earth’s cleansing until it is time for spring.
Then they re-emerge to bloom once more.
The joy that spring brings
After the dank and dark of winter, spring comes bursting with joyous color and new life.
Spring is life
Spring is joy
Spring is love
Spring is renewal
Spring brings growth
Spring returns, bringing colors, babbling brooks, clear streams, cool breeze.
The earth becomes happy again, animals chirping, blending their sounds with rustling winds through the trees.
Flowers bloom, spewing their perfume.
Butterflies flutter, fireflies dazzle, lending their light to delight.
Peals of laughter from the uninhibited joy of children, making grownups smile and reminisce.
Warm sunny days, family gatherings, outdoor fun, picnics, laughter and play.
New life sprouts, life is good.
God in the details every day.
I hope you Enjoy Some of my NY Pictures

Look at the beauty and serenity of this view.

These beautiful birds stopped briefly for some sun.

Off the wharf watching the birds take flight. The water, the air, the beauty of it all.

I took the picture of this tree about a month ago, I found myself curious as to why the branches were growing so close to the trunk, instead of outward. There is no shortage of sunlight nor is it vying for the light of food. Very interesting.
Spring in your step.
What makes you feel joyful this time of year? Who and what do you appreciate in your world?
