A Spiritual Interpretation of Common Ground

A poem about my INDIVIDUAL spiritual journey.

Photo created by Amanda Clark on Jasper Art.

My spirituality does not judge.

Honestly, how/whether you connect/believe in a power greater than yourself is your journey, not mine, and I say that with nothing but genuine love.

I, personally believe in a power greater than myself regardless, and I believe my higher power exists, whether I want it to or not, but this is MY own understanding that I have arrived to based on my own factors and experiences.

This meandering path, beyond comprehension and explanation, has led me to a non-judgmental/non-condemning Force, experienced mostly through finding my authentic, inner self and breaking down the walls within.

In a conditioned world full of categories and labels, a world where we’re encouraged to fit neatly in a box, my open definition of existence baffles many, I suppose. Oh well.

All I can explain is what I know, and what I know is that through surrendering to the basics of thirst, hunger, and connection, through unraveling my soul and welcoming my grief and pain, through allowing the light to shine however it lands,

I have discovered that I am NEVER alone. I am ALWAYS loved and worthy. I am but one essential piece of the manifesting universe.

So, even though I don’t fully understand it all, and honestly, never will, I now trust the process.

I move forward one step/day at a time.

I evolve.

I love.

I be.

Other interpretations and condemnations remain; I acknowledge that fact to its core, while also accepting the outer limits of my control… (For me, the key to holding onto serenity.)

But, on MY valid path, I have come to believe there is no one way to interpret what cannot be fully interpreted and no way to condemn what cannot be condemned.

I will no longer fear and hide, for I find hope, healing, and freedom, in openly sharing, listening, and learning about these interpretations, experiences, and miracles with others

while, remaining true, kind, faithful, and, perhaps most importantly, always keeping an open mind💙
