Let us celebrate the birthday of a special publication.

I wish our grand Illumination a very happy birthday. 🎂🎂🎂

I am so proud to be a senior editor with Illumination.

I joined Medium in September 2020 and my first article was published by our chief Dr. Mehmet Yildiz.

I was a professor and a writer of books and research papers but had no idea about blogs and online writing.

Dr.Mehmet appreciated my writing style and left encouraging comments on my stories and I was happy to be recognized by him.

I slowly learned about Medium from him.

By December 2020 I was happily part of the team and became an editor of Illumination-integrated publications.

Dr Mehmet Yildiz runs and flies and has added so many publications. He has Illumination, Illumination Mirror, Synergy, Illumination Book Chapters, Technology Hits, Illumination Curated, Readers Hope, Illumination Videos & Podcasts and the latest Lampshade.

I am inspired by Dr Mehmet Yildiz. He is a prolific and popular writer and you can read about him here:-

We have a wonderful slack channel for editors where we meet and discuss issues every day.

The editorial team works around the clock from different time zones. We do not leave Illumination alone even for a moment and in return, Illumination keeps us super busy with ample submissions that sometimes 30 of us cannot complete in a day.

Dr Mehmet Yildiz is very supportive of his team of editors and is inspiring to work with. He is very kind and he appreciates every small thing that you do for him. Every message that I have addressed to him has been replied to promptly. It has been a great pleasure to work with him.

Every writer in the publication is equally important to our chief Dr Mehmet Yildiz. He pays equal attention to every writer on the slack channel and encourages active conversation with them and the exchange of ideas.

Illumination’s core value is the inclusion of every kind of writer and reader and to embrace of diversity. He makes no distinctions and listens to every problem of the writers.
