A Snowy Week in the RV

RV Living in Ohio

It’s been extremely cold up here in northern Ohio. Actual temperatures have ranged from 15 to 20 degrees, while windchills have been close to zero.

It snowed two days ago and we got two inches, maybe close to three inches in some places. Snow is beautiful no matter how cold it is.

We have seen evidence of cats in the area. Our daughter and her husband don’t have cats, but they do. We see them occasionally roaming around. Don’t know if they are feral or belong to a neighbor.

Living in the RV hasn’t been too bad. The furnace works great and we have a couple of small space heaters. The only issue is the lack of water. It is too cold to have water hooked up. Once the temperatures drop below freezing, the water spigots and outside faucets freeze even if you have a heated hose hooked up.

We can go inside for all our water needs such as toilet and showers. Good thing I kept a pair of snow boots. The bad thing is I am terrified of walking on ice, and my foot did slip a little and twisted my knee again.

But on the bright side, only two more days and we are looking forward to the warmth of 50-degree weather.

We came here for medical reasons and are staying because the doctor wants to see Rich again in six weeks due to some blood test results.

We do what we have to do, and will stay where we need to be, even if it is cold and snowy.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed the photos of the snow. Please clap, highlight, and comment to let me know you were here.
