Our lives have changed, the way we do things completely changed, we spend more time in social media without even noticing it. We now use social media to reach out to the customers. If you're a regular social media user, you'll agree with me that these platforms change now and then, algorithms become more complicated to understand. What is working today may completely change in a short period. Now here is my suggestion let's say you have a product to sell, it's attempting or it feels like the right thing to advertise your product in every social media you can. The most popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, all these are different platforms, but they got one thing in common, Followers, you know you need to build followers in your account right. Without a large following in your account, you don't have much power, so you need to build a strong fan base, and to do so you'll have to master the site. This is the beginning of the challenges, you can't be able to master all the platforms, it's time-consuming, and it's hard to follow through and read all the stats. Unless you have a good budget to hire people who are going to do the job for you, updating your account every day, following through, engaging in comments, and replying messages. If you're an independent artist or running your business this little trick may help you.

I know it sounds cool to say my “my music is available in every digital store” Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Google Play, iTunes, etc these are different companies, some they provide tools to help you, to push your music to the right audience.

Digital music distributors, help you with stats like when and where your music is being streamed, so you can use those stats for your advantage, again chose wisely which digital distributor are you going to use, try to stick to it and understand how they work, use possibly every tool in place. Monitor your music through their website, some Digital distributors have good apps which can be installed to your phone, this may be overlooked but its purpose is to make sure you're able to follow your stats anytime. The trick is to find your advantage, know where to present it, and use it to stand out from the rest, don't just dump your songs, and hope that people will find it. Have a plan of how you're going to release your songs, and it may take time before you see a potential growth or tangible results. The competition is fierce and real, be prepared and rock on.
