I used to think I could only meet women at bars and parties, or on dating apps.

It’s possible to approach women as they’re going about their day, build a connection and swap contact details to organise a date.

I didn’t learn this until 2014.

Since then, I’ve landed dates with women I’ve met in shopping malls, cafes, beaches, food courts and anywhere I see them.

Some women will be too busy to talk. For others, this could be the fairytale moment they’ve dreamed about since they were a young girl. It’s certainly more romantic than matching on Tinder or a drunken snog in a sweaty nightclub.

So many women have told me they were flattered that I approached them in this manner. Many more were clearly intrigued by the bravery and charisma it takes to do this in a fun and respectful manner.

Most men either don’t have the balls or the knowledge to smoothly approach women during the daytime. When you do it, you’ll immediately stand out from the crowd.

How To Approach Women In Public: A Basic 3-Step Guide

Step 1: Be Honest About What You Want

It’s possible to start a conversation with smalltalk, then lead it towards asking her out on a date.

However, this is rarely effective when approaching women in daytime environments, because they’ll usually be too distracted by wondering what you really want.

So, your best bet is to explain that you like how she looks and so you wanted to meet her.

Tell her she looks ‘good’ or ‘glamorous’, rather than ‘sexy’ or that she has ‘amazing tits’. We’re not trying to cat-call anyone.

Make sure to adopt good eye contact, a big smile and a loud proud voice.

It’s also a nice idea to preface your compliment with a statement of empathy - something like “I know this is a bit out of nowhere but…” - so she can see you understand basic social etiquette.

Step 2: Get To Know Each Other

Since you’re the one approaching a complete stranger, it’s on you to carry the conversation for the initial moments.

I’d recommend getting to know her using fun and playful assumptions.

“You’re looking very sporty today. I’m guessing you’re some sort of professional athlete.”

“I’m guessing you’re not from around here. You have this big smile and wide eyes like you’re a tourist.”

This is more engaging and less intrusive than asking boring interview-style questions.

Often, she’ll be inspired to discover why you made certain assumptions about her, either by correcting you or confirming you were right.

Once she starts asking questions about you, you can be confident that she’s enjoying the conversation.

Step 3: Swap Contact Details

Often in daytime environments, one or both of you won’t have too much time to talk.

Still, you should aim to spend as much time as you can flirting and getting to know each other.

Then, before you have to part ways, swap contact details under the premise that you want to meet her again for a date.

In an ideal world, you’ll have time to find out what she likes to do and suggest a date idea while you’re still hanging out.

This makes swapping contact details a formality — and it’ll make messaging her much easier too.

Either way, I recommend swapping social media details rather than phone numbers, as this allows you to get to know each other even more while you’re apart.

Aim to get her out on a date as soon as possible after your first encounter, while she still remembers how brave and charismatic you were to approach her.

It requires some bravery to approach women in public. You’ll have some rough landings. Some women won’t be into it.
