Dowry is also a major reason for the destruction of society

On the day of Uncle Yusuf’s elder daughter’s wedding, we all were present in the wedding hall. At the time of the marriage ceremony, suddenly the groom refused the marriage saying, I will marry when the girl’s father gives his daughter a car as dowry.

Everyone was worried about how to manage the car so soon because Uncle Yusuf was a minor employee in the WAPDA department.

Uncle Yusuf promised the groom that he would buy a car for his daughter for one or two years, so then his daughter got married.

Uncle Yusuf’s daughter Sana was asked many times by her husband to talk to her parents about the car, but Sana knew that her father was suffering from heart disease and mother was suffering from diabetes, that’s why Sana used to avoid her husband every time with some pretext.

Uncle Yusuf had only four daughters and no son, so Sana could not put any more burden on her father’s shoulders.

A week ago, Sana’s husband kicked Sana out of the house, telling her to come with her father in his car and if your father doesn’t take the car, stay in his house.

Since she was forced, she told everything to her father. The father consoled his daughter and said, "Don’t worry, I’m doing something."

And then at 1 am Uncle Yusuf had a heart attack and went to meet his real creator.

I went to condole with a lot of people, while his daughter Sana was crying and saying, "I am the unfortunate daughter who caused my father’s death. I have no right to live, I must die too."

This is a great life lesson that we get a lot from society.

Today again a daughter fell victim to this disease like dowry and today again a poor father died pressing his daughter’s desire in his heart.

What I want to draw people’s attention to in my article is called dowry.

Dowry is a curse.

The most precious and cherished possessions in the world of parents are their children. And this is an unparalleled blessing of Allah.

For its happiness the parents labor day and night, the mother who seems to be most engaged in the training of the child, and her bosom is the child’s first place of training.

A father always works hard to satisfy his children by sacrificing his peace, he wishes that his children should not lack anything.

Daughters are a blessing to parents, whereas in the days of ignorance, the birth of a son was celebrated and the birth of a daughter was mourned and buried alive.

But Islam has given protection to the woman, given her the honorable and dignified position of daughter, sister, wife, and mother. But in modern times also, parents get sad on the birth of a girl child.

Because the daughter is a distant memory, and one day she will leave this house.

The property that is given to a daughter on her marriage by her parents so that she can have peace and quiet when she goes to the old house, and this property is called “DOWRY”

But the growing lust and greed in our society has made this mercy difficult. And people have put themselves on the wrong path by abandoning the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet.

For years, our society has been busy cursing a blessed practice like dowry, from which it is not possible for a common man to get rid of it.

Whether rich or poor, everyone is suffering from this ritual.

Rich is intoxicated with the worry of disposing of his wealth, and in the desire to raise his nose in the society, and is making the dowry a burden with mercy And the poor is worried about restoring his honor in the society by spending his savings.

The rich father arranges expensive things, houses, and cars to keep his love alive, but the poor poor man goes underground with his heart’s longings in his heart.

When this dowry gets a bit more ironic, suicides, wrong characters and an unending series of illicit relationships ensue which makes the society a mess. The honor of the old man is destroyed.

The main culprit of this ruin is this bad ritual. Father is not responsible for all these disasters, mother is not responsible for this disease. The culprit of this curse and destruction is not the brother, if the real culprit is appearance, lust, and it is the dowry.

And those are also guilty who demand ritual evil in it, although they forget that the Father is giving them the treasure of his life, in the form of his chaste daughter.

These people’s pride may fall asleep when they demand that, before a daughter, they want household goods, a house, a business for a boy, and a car.

The need is that we all must end this evil ritual together.

So, that a poor person in the society does not lose his life to fulfill the wishes of his beloved daughter.
