A Short Rant About Certain Followers.

I have only a few of these, thank god, but maybe some of you have them too

What gives? I mean, seriously? Why do some followers think it’s helpful or encouraging to read one of my stories and then highlight almost half of it, without ever leaving a comment. A few of these exuberant highlighters also grace me with only one clap.

WTH am I suppose to think about this? Well here’s what I have to say to you…

“Ah gee kind one, sorry but I don’t know what to think about all these highlights in my story. Um, did you like my piece? Or, did it bother you in some way? Am I asking too much to want an explanation? Oh okay, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to put you out. I can see you have thousands of followers, so I guess I should be happy you stopped by at all.

I see you gave me one generous clap, so okay, at least you did that much for me. So thank you! Bless your little baby heart, too. I wouldn’t want to wear out your finger, maybe go soak it in some baking soda and warm water. I hear that helps.

I have read a few of your stories and I do not understand WHY you are even bothering to read my stuff at all. I mean you’re like some big gamer, or something, so you write Captain Kirk’ while I write plain English. So, ah, excuse me but how did you even find me in the first place? Are you trying to learn and understand English by reading my stories, or are you just attracted to my avatar. Well if that’s it buddy, know this. My tiny avatar pic is me 30 years ago. I’m 71 now and trust me here, the then and now represents a clear ‘before life’ and ‘after life’ pic so kindly move on.”

Okay I’m done. I have blocked this person and I suggest you do, too. Sheesh, the nerve of some people.
