A Sense of Obligation
30-Day Gratitude Challenge
I am facing a mild illness, probably due to stress from the past week, yet today was a nice day. Feel good while writing this. I am compelled to be grateful because I have access to medicines and the awareness to avoid further issues, utilize home remedies, and have the ability to take care of myself. I know, it is not easy to be thankful during an illness. Your loved ones, especially a parent, are already worried about you, so much so that they are inching closer to spoiling their peace of mind. But then, illnesses happen just like that. The kind of environment we have now, it is near impossible to not fall ill. You cannot simply avoid it. I am grateful because I can assure my loved ones that I will be fine. I am grateful for the knowledge and education I have that help me in knowing about a health issue and remedying it. I am grateful because I have access to nutritious food. I am surrounded by this tremendous sense of obligation.
