The Fateful Night

On the night of December 2, 2020, Reshetnikov started his livestream with Valentina, his pregnant girlfriend, and their friend Marina by his side. As they continued, the atmosphere grew heavy with the influence of alcohol; a viewer offered Reshetnikov $1000 in exchange for beating Valentina.

Reshetnikov forced his girlfriend, Valentina Grigoryeva, out onto the balcony of their apartment in sub-zero temperatures, wearing only her underwear. He then closed the door, leaving her outside. She faced the bitter cold alone, her calls for help ignored.

When Reshetnikov finally opened the door, he found her lifeless. Instead of immediately seeking medical help, Reshetnikov continued the livestream, showing his attempts to revive her and then mourning her apparent death.

Valentina’s Cause of Death

People thought hypothermia was her cause of death, but the forensic experts revealed a disturbing truth. After examining Valentina’s body, they discovered she had suffered a severe head injury.

This injury was the actual cause of her death, hinting at a violent altercation before the live-stream event. This revelation intensified the outrage against Reshetnikov and shed light on the broader issue of domestic violence that often remains hidden behind closed doors.
