The end of most civilizations in the past, has shown a similar pattern in history. Many-a-wars were fought in the name of resources. Every land, with its own rich resource, Fought wars to expand, improve and conquer new lands. One thing that they all had in common long forgotten, Ignoring it cost many their civilization itself. Exploitation of natural resources created economic disparity between lands. Many lands fell in the tight clutches of the Vulture, A famine so deadly, had been eyeing the lands from a distance.

Watching those civilizations that exploited their natural resources. Waiting patiently for its turn to make the final attack. Affecting the health of many, Many died of hunger while others died fighting battles. Would we be any cleverer than our predecessors? Would we realize the importance of a sustainable living, At the crux of time, To change the path we are headed to. Or will this be how the modern civilization would end? Soil is a natural resource all our lives are dependent on.

It’s okay if our actions once affected nature, it’s never too late to make better choices. This fictional story is written combining the three prompts for day 24- “Pattern”, Day 25- “Health” and Day 26- “Civilization”. It’s an effort from my side to create awareness of the soil crisis we are facing right now and its ill effects on the environment and why it’s important to prevent it. Soil crisis is real, and it is not a distant danger anymore. Let’s save soil before it’s too late to reverse the damages we have already done #100daysforsoil #consciousplanet #savesoil #savesoilmovement
