A Rant on Music Videos and Zoom Meetings
Is it really fashionable, these days, for videos to be all broken-up and choppy? Or do they just look that way on my computer?
I don’t get it. We’ve had 80 years of technology in which to make movies flow smoothly, as in real life. When did videos start looking like broken-up Time Delay news reports from the 1960s? I’m afraid I have the same problem with the visual delay on Zoom meetings. It’s 2024! We should not have to put up with such stuff.
I don’t like the choppiness of the videos; it actually messes with my brainwaves and makes me fall asleep! When you add the fact that music hasn’t sounded right to me anymore since I had to start wearing hearing aids, watching today’s music videos is not my idea of a good time.
It’s easy to produce a nice, smooth music video. Watch any movie of a Broadway musical comedy produced over the last 85 years. That’s how you do it!
