Summary

The website content discusses the process of spiritual evolution from ego-centered existence to a state of unity with one's soul, emphasizing the importance of daily meditation to build a 'body of light' and shift one's identity beyond the physical self.

Abstract

The article titled "A Presence Is Weaving a Body of Light Behind My Back" explores the transformative journey from identifying with the ego, which is necessary for survival, to embracing the soul as one's true identity. It likens personal growth to the metamorphosis from a caterpillar to a butterfly, suggesting that the ego serves as the initial stage of consciousness that must be transcended. The text advocates for a daily meditation practice to cultivate awareness, which allows one to inhabit consciousness fully and live more consciously. This shift in identification from the physical body to a 'light body' is described as a 'petite mort', a symbolic death that leads to a more enlightened state of being. The author emphasizes that this practice has tangible benefits, including increased lucidity in waking life and dreams, and a more welcoming attitude towards life's events. The article concludes by reminding readers that the true wealth in life is the time spent nurturing the spirit and building the body of light, which is the only thing one takes beyond death.

  • The article suggests that awareness is a path to the divine, implying a connection between individual consciousness and a larger, universal consciousness.
  • The text conveys a perspective that true wealth is not material but spiritual, measured by the growth of one's consciousness and light body.

Do I choose to see it as a stranger or as an ally?

Who am I ? or should I say Which part of consciousness do I identify with? The question is not really who am I? but who I choose to be ? Most time of our life is devoted to our survival that the role of our ego. The ego is a transitory construct for survival in a dangerous world. Fear and incentives maintain our attachment to our ego which is a crystallization of circumstances (lineage, education, reactions to events…). The ego is the first stage of a rocket.

We need to accept the process from the caterpillar to the butterfly because it will come anyway. All is transient, nothing lasts.

When this first stage is built, we need to detach oneself from the addiction to it and widen our identification to our soul. It is like a petite mort, a symbolic death. It is about becoming an imago, the adult butterfly. The first stage is here to launch the second one of the rocket, to be able to go through the death as a full consciousness.

Imagine a cherry whose pulp is your light body and whose core is your physical body with your ego. You acquire the mastery to modulate your attention to any part of the cherry because your identification shifted from your physical body to your light body and because you have built a simple routine of a daily meditation, whatever how you do it and how much time you devote to it, but do it daily to build a path, a neuronal path. Whatever your path, with trial and error, you’ll find your own way. What you build is your passport to cross over in full awareness. Awareness is your way to inhabit consciousness.

Today, create a moment for yourself. Then repeat it on a daily base.

My routine begins by inhabiting this Presence that I situate behind and above my head. I stay some time without thinking, just concentrating to shift my identity there. When this process is stable and my attention is anchored in this Presence, I widen my awareness to my breathing as a witness without doing or interfering in any way, as this is becoming stable, I widen to my physical body from feet to head, listening to any sensation, having then three points of attention.

When this daily practice is well anchored, you may widen to anything outside your physical body, the walls of your room, any invisible presence in your house, the trees outside your house, you are now in the quantum space. When your body is relax, you relax any ego view of any part of consciousness outside your physical body.

Consciousness is the Whole while awareness is your part on the way to the Divine, when consciousness and awareness are ONE.

This practice has side effects because progressively you give power to your soul in your daily life and you feed your body of light, your lucidity grows even at night in your dreams. You realize that you stop reacting to events and welcome them…

Time is our wealth, we are not here just to kill time and divert our attention on speeches and illusions. We will cross over death naked, with only what our spirit acquired on building our body of light.
