A Poetic Verse About Me

An abecedarian poem

Authenticity befriends my need to daydream by finding wide seas of quietness close to sincere heart spaces where I can deliberately stretch into poetic streams, nearly, every day as I stir my morning coffee.

Frequently I hum tunes and sing guessing the words, a bit too often, yet humble enough to know I’m far from perfect.

Just as I think I’ve got life figured out kismet points me to listen and truly to hear how tiny moments give me the deepest blessings not the glam or fame, society too often praises.

Opportunities gracefully offer their ways with a purpose to channel introspection and expand life’s questions, which hold me closer to seek new revelations to reframe what wasn’t obvious simply because I wasn’t ready to know their insights.

Transparency, profoundly touches me and understands how I need respect and vulnerability as much as imagination welcomes me to explore new pathways xeriscaping my inner landscape with zeal and tenderness which completes me.

Special thank you to Galit Birk, PhD for her writing prompt, Who are you? Using the Abecedarian poem format. Her poem is here:
