“The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms — this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of true religion.” ~Albert Einstein

In this sonnet, it was my attempt to bring science and spirituality together. It can be argued that science and faith cannot be found on common ground without first seeking a deeper understanding to all things. Scientific hypothesis ever-changing truth mirroring the ever-changing truths of the seekers who set out to find the meaning of it all.

On this path to finding ultimate truths, discovering self, deducing no truths existing but an ever-changing truth labeled once, forgotten and found again in varying forms. As close to finding truth, yielding no longer truth, reminding me of eternal Tao.

Ways can be guided; they are not fixed ways. Names can be named; they are not fixed names. “Absence”names the cosmic horizon, “Presence”names the mother of 10,000 natural kinds. Fixing on “Absence”is to want to view enigmas. Fixing on “Presence”is to want to view phenomena. These two, emerging together, we name differently. Conceiving of them as being one: call that “fathomless. Calling it “fathomless”is still not to fathom it. …the door to a cluster of puzzles. ~Translation by Chad Hansen

Thank you 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊. for Day 21 of 30-day poetry challenge. The path marrying the two remains in the seeking of the seeker, seeking a deeper understanding of self, discovering cosmic truths and vice versa. Headstrong will argue what the heart knows to be true, we continue walking the path, smiling light-heartedly all the way!

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
