Summary

Emily, a twin flame coach, discusses the transformative and often tumultuous journey of twin flame relationships, emphasizing personal growth and self-awareness over romantic attachment.

Abstract

The concept of twin flames is presented as a catalyst for profound personal change and self-discovery rather than a traditional romantic relationship. Emily, who has experienced the loss of her own twin flame, shares her insights from coaching others on their twin flame journeys. She describes the experience as an awakening that leads to a series of life-altering events, characterized by intense emotional upheaval and the mirroring of one's true self. The journey, which continues even after the potential physical separation from the twin flame, is seen as an opportunity for soul growth, particularly through painful experiences. Emily advocates for embracing the chaos and learning to trust one's inner self, suggesting that the ultimate goal is not union with the other person but rather a deeper connection with oneself.

A No-Bullshit Approach to the Twin Flame Journey

Let’s face it. It’s insanity.

The term “twin flames” is just a label. It points toward an experience of complete insanity and chaos that is leading you toward union with yourself. It allows you to feel love in a world where you hadn’t before. It brings you a person who mirrors you so that you can understand who you really are — and what needs to be fixed.

This means great upheaval. It causes a storm. I don’t sugarcoat the twin flame experience.

The twin flame journey is pure insanity. At least, it is at first — until you learn that it’s going to change every part of your life and you should just go with it.

I’ve been “coaching” people on their twin flame journeys for about a year and a half now (as if anyone can be coached on such a nonsensical journey!) and I like to give a very real picture of what’s really going on. There are no guarantees except that the universe wants you to forget everything you’ve ever known, start again, and heal painfully.

I offer guidance for twin flames, but I think it’s hard to “coach” someone on such an awakening. It’s nothing anyone can really predict — it’s about learning to trust the inner self. So, that’s what I help people do.

In truth, the twin flame journey isn’t really about that other person — it’s all about you. It’s about your own self-awareness. This person isn’t necessarily going to end up with you, but the fact that you met and you’ve been awakened to this new version of reality sets into motion a whole chain of events in your life that can’t be stopped. It’s a miracle. But it’s also very weird.

My twin flame is no longer “alive” but since I met him, my life radically changed. It was a whirlwind journey when he was alive for the short time I knew him, but the journey itself hasn’t ended. The way I relate to myself has been evolving ever since. I am constantly confronted with twists, turns, and surprises that are all related to him in ways I never imagined were possible. I find coincidences that point to him everywhere I go and my psychic senses are forever being heightened.

It’s worth mentioning that I also know others whose twin flames have died and who experience the same ongoing journey. It never ends. And whether yours is still alive or not, you are in this neverending story, too.

The point is this: twin flames aren’t primarily about romance. It’s about your soul growth. The biggest opportunities for soul growth come in the form of very painful experiences.

I approach the twin flame journey without focusing on “bullshit” or distractions. It’s hard. We like to focus on the attachment to this person, don’t we? But past this layer of the experience, there are many opportunities for soul learning. And that’s what the soul has come to do.

This is why I try to help my clients focus on what matters and what they can control, not on the obsession or the romance itself.

Stop struggling against what’s happening to you and embrace it. Cherish the upheaval. Befriend the agony. Let it happen. Try to find the reason why it’s happening. This is the best advice I can give you.

As the pain and the shock subside from whatever you’re going through, you will find it easier to live. You’ll start to appreciate the magic that has entered your life. Although you want so badly to be with this person, the point is to try to let go. Love yourself more. See yourself mirrored in this person and this situation. And let the uncanny events of your life inspire you further.
