A New Top Writer Is Here!
It was a surprise when I saw I’m a Top Writer for Travel
Some days ago, as I was checking my email, I saw amazing news! It was stated that I was now a top writer for the section Travel! I was amazed because I thought that the top writers were only for those who gained trillions of views and reads.
To my surprise, I checked my profile and the distinction was not there. But with the help of my co-editors, I tried to find an answer to this and with patience, it now officially appears!
I have been here for four months and it has been an amazing journey. When I started, my main purpose was to write some of my thoughts and reflections, I think writing can really be helpful for one’s mental health.
I was really surprised by this community! There is so much support and the engagement is so meaningful. You get to know other people that feel the same as you or that share totally different experiences. Here’s another beautiful benefit, you can learn from so many writers all around the world. Everyone has something to share, it’s up to us to value it.
It has been a little over a month now that I began to create weekly prompts in a new but not so new publication. The founder of Coffee Times was so welcoming and he surprisingly accepted me to work in this publication. As there were so many options, I decided to take on the challenge and write travel prompts.
I have been so grateful for my little contribution to this community and having the Top Writer tag motivates me even more! I will try to do my best and of course, there is already something planned for December!
Fortunately, I have made many experiences whilst traveling and I hope there will be so much to come! I can’t wait to start and plan for a new and exciting adventure. And as I’ve read other pieces around Medium, I have found out that there are so many articles about people’s experiences, it can be about the food, some crazy activities, traveling solo and so much more. And so many stories still need to see the light!
I would also like to thank the lovely editors. There is so much support!

If you also want to join this publication, there are so many columns you can visit. From interviews of fellow amazing writers, books, weekly highlights, Know Thyself, travels, and so much more!
There is now a new prompt for Know Thyself! It’s perfect for this transitional month. Check it out!
