A New Rule in the Evanosky House
And a Public Apology
So, I’ve been recovering from RSV. It’s a long haul, but at least it wasn’t Covid. Three weeks it’s taken me to begin being almost normal again. I am being slow, deliberately slow about it, but I had an experience today that troubled me.
My neighbor is pretty much housebound. Several months ago, I volunteered my services to help her with shopping and stuff like that. It escalated until I was kicking myself for doing that. It was a horrible extrication as I finally told her I just couldn’t wait on her hand and foot anymore. Then, November set in, and it was a terrific excuse because I would be butt planted in my desk chair writing for the NaNoWriMo 50,000 word challenge. I only got 23,000 words into it before I got RSV, but it was fair enough work that I will continue until I am finished…..
