A New Home for “Coffee Times Orphans”?

A new lease of life for great stories

If you missed it, a large Medium publication was shut down recently, after it published an anti-LGBTQ+ rant.

Ira Robinson explains the circumstances here: “Let’s Talk About What Happened at Coffee Times”.

It sucks.

I didn’t want this to happen either, Gerald Sturgill, but here we are!

So, what now?

Many people, myself included, now have Coffee Times orphans — articles published there and suddenly without a publication.

Most Medium publications don’t take already-published articles.

So, I have a suggestion: a new publication to give these orphans a home.

Anyone want to run it? You’d quickly become one of the most popular people on Medium!

Just remember to reject the hate speech.
