POETRY / POETRY PROMPT

A Nacho Stack Makes the Perfect Snack

I’ve been salivating over the food poetry prompt on nachos

Whilst reading all the poetry inspir’d by Lucy’s prompt, it suddenly occured to me that I cannot recall the last time that upon a plate of nachos I did chomp. This knowledge made me reminisce, my mind — and gut — enthralled.

For what could be more tasty than a warm tortilla stack adorned with salsa, jalapenos, and a pile of cheese, all melted in a tasty heap to form the perfect snack, then topped with sour cream and chives? (And guacamole, please!)

Thanks to Will Hull for tagging me into his mouthwatering poem:

and thanks to Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) for the original prompt:

Tagging Anthony O'Dugan Jeff Ehren Hilda Carroll Jack Lincoln Kyomi O'Connor Adelia Ritchie Carolyn Hastings Jennifer McDougall Michael Burg, MD (AKA Medium Michael Burg) Sarah Paris and anyone else who might like to join in on this tasty, tasty prompt.
