A Motorbike for Rundugai

Together, we spark change

Taking the first two Tanzanian women on motorbikes around Mt. Kilimanjaro is the continuation of a story of love and empowerment that began 2.5 years ago (image private collection)

Can you think back to a moment in time when someone’s help had such a profound impact that it changed the course of your future? Do you recall the difference that person made in your life?

Today, I would like to request a little of your time in helping change the future of two Tanzian women and potentially many others.

Germana and Mariam live at the foothills of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Both are passionate about motorcycling and managed to get their licenses—a rare document hardly any Tanzanian woman owns.

Now, they are determined to use their skills to generate income from it.

But they require support to achieve their ambitious goal.

BIKE ‘N SOUL and Moshi Easy Riders have initiated a fundraising campaign to help finance a motorbike by April 2024.

A motorbike will allow Mariam and Germana to kickstart their biz, the first women-managed motorbike cab service in the Kilimanjaro region. Part of their future profit will go toward a revolving fund to pay for a second bike and continue supporting like-minded women who want to follow in their footsteps.

A Motorbike for Rundugai empowers women in rural Tanzania by providing them with a reliable source of income, increasing female passenger safety, and enhancing mobility and self-determination for the women in the region.

If you want to support this great cause, help us by staying on this post a little longer and cheer us on (earnings generated by your reading time will go straight to A Motorbike for Rundugai).

Or feel free to visit our page and find out how to make a sustainable investment with as little as US$ 5.

We are nearly halfway. It’s your chance to help us go full circle.

Together, we spark the change our world needs!

Nashukuru kwa msaada wako wa ukarimu Thank you for your heartfelt support — Kerstin 🍀
