A Moment in Time.
Simple and stunning beauty puts things in perspective.

Lived across 5 generations, Memory that doesn’t forget, Gift and curse, Little things trigger recalls, Events and times best forgotten, Left in past.
Life is full of choices we don’t make, Seeds unplanted, Unseen flowers, Uncontemplated thoughts, Such were my contemplations after receiving news of college friends’ deaths.
Life has been of transformative and discontinuous experiences, College to university being first of willfully asserting independence, Breaking with past, News of deaths brought back old memories, Wondered about what could have been.
Beauty’s Gift to Me.
Sitting in garden, My soul’s garden, Beauty surrounds, Snapdragons and gum trees, Vigorous focussed vanilla vine.
Tending and fussing Embraced and embracing, Memories tamed, Life’s not about could have beens, My life’s focus is family caring, For that I give thanks.
