A Message On A Coke Can Got Me Thinking…
Now is the time to make a change.
Christian, Muslim, Republican, Democrat, Labour, Conservative, white, black, old, young, beautiful, ugly, rich, poor, Black Lives Matter, English Defence League, intelligent, dumb, LGBTQ+, Feminism.
It seems that every person, everywhere, has been divided into different groups and factions. Split down the middle, torn apart and ripped from the source — that is consciousness.
To be conscious is to understand that we are all one and the same. It’s the awareness that, regardless of our age, race, skin colour, social status, country, religion, sexual or political preference, and country of origin, we are all-powerful beings, with the ability to manifest wonderful things in this world; to make a positive impact and generate true happiness, love and abundance for all.
It’s the knowing that we, along with our environment, are completely interconnected and understanding that our actions and reactions influence the universe. Contributing to the energy of the planet, whether that be good or bad.
And finally, the knowing that intelligence recognises that the ego, in all its forms, causes significant separation. That every time you respond with low-frequency emotion or act with only a selected few in mind, you are influencing the inevitable crumbling of those around you — whether that be mental or physical.
There is unlimited potential for the masses to thrive. But instead, we are always trying to assert our dominance over one another. Often unconsciously reacting with negative emotion (energy in motion) to each and every move conducted by various individuals. Constantly Perceiving an attack by the actions of those that trigger emotional responses — usually as a result of our insecurities — generated by the imprint of a turbulent past.
Many proceed to view each other with an attitude that reeks “me against them.” As if to say that one’s opinion should be favoured and another disregarded. Some extremist groups even respond with violence to clarify that they are “right”. After all, the ego will do anything to prevent itself from being “wrong.” In doing so, it willingly destroys the innocent in an attempt to relish in power. Controlling the majority like artificial sims in a video game.
We all fight amongst each other as if one particular social construct is to blame. Completely oblivious to the fact that it is only a minority — the top 1% — who rely on the division of the 99% to achieve their selfish aims.
We fail to see that it’s a small, greedy class of people who are using political and social identities as a mask; monopolising the media to portray a specific agenda and yank us apart even more. Revelling in the unhappiness of others. Consumerism increases, financial gain is prominent.
But worst of all, we continue to deny that our thoughts, feelings and actions make a difference to the overall betterment of the planet. We continue to live by the fallacy that every event is ‘out of our control’ and that we can’t do anything about the evil that is present.
This simply isn’t true.
Together we are more powerful than words can describe.
Through elevated emotions that emanate a high frequency, we can all assist with the diminishing of the ego. By choosing to remain quiet whilst the storm is raging around us, we slowly start to show that peace can be obtained. By dropping our guard, we show that life can be lived in tranquillity.
Where all are taken into consideration and have the opportunity to flourish; everywhere you look, life will be prosperous.
Starting Over — The Message
What better time for us to start over than now? — Message on Coke can
We don’t need to save our planet. We need to save ourselves. Only through the saviour of ourselves, can we then begin to save our planet.
Mother Earth has been here for millions, if not billions of years. It’s thought that most species that have ever lived have eventually become extinct. Our actions at present are only speeding up the demise of ourselves.
The ego has reached disproportionate levels. It’s at its peak.
Its never-ending want for more is contributing to the destruction of nature. The dizzyingly fast pace of life is only speeding up the depletion of resources — the ones we need to survive.
So wouldn’t this be a perfect opportunity to start over?
To re-write the system and over-throw outdated notions that threaten the existence of humanity.
To stop all the madness. To stop hierarchical systems that devastate our own. To put an end to imaginary borders that physically cause division and unrest. To go from being selfish to selfless, keeping in mind that we are ALL cut from the same cloth. And to stop identifying with anything or anyone that gives room to diverge from the source — that is, consciousness.
To get respect, we have to respect others. Our philosophy of life may differ, but that’s ok. We don’t have to agree all the time. We just have to understand that the moment we express our difference in opinion, in a way that belittles someone else, we allow the continuation of negativity throughout the planet.
The cycle cannot be broken by acting in the same way you always have — based on social conditioning and harboured emotion.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. — Unknown
There is no use in feeling frustrated at the bad happenings in the world if we refuse to take responsibility for our actions. Change can only be expected to occur when we start small.
Starting with ourselves.
So the next time you see a stranger in the street, try smiling at them. Or try assisting someone you know in need of help.
See how it makes you feel.
It’s small actions like this that help to adjust the closed-minded perceptions of others, contributing to a happier, loving and more sustainable world.
