A Love Poem, In Abecedarian Form
Inspired by seeing my Queen sleeping in bed this morning…
This is a poem inspired by and dedicated to my Queen, Reina. This will be a futile attempt at trying to put my love for you into words, for all the world to hear and see.
The Burning Blood of Desire-
Awakened by Papa Sun’s morning rays,
Blinding light, shining thru the shades.
Chirping birds sing to each other out the window,
Delivering the news of the day.
Eyes still filled with sandy sleep,
Fall upon your sleeping form.
Gazing up and down your curves,
Helpless against your beauty.
Inspired thoughts fill my mind,
Just as you open your eyes.
Loving you is the simplest thing,
Man and Woman in perfect Union.
Nothing can come between our love,
One in a billion, that’s what we are.
Powerful and fragile, beautiful and fierce,
Queen of the castle, Lady of the land.
Rays of sunlight dance on your naked flesh,
Sweetly kissing your coconut-flavored skin.
Thirst for you boils deep within my soul,
Underlining my need for your touch.
Varying degrees of heat rise and fall inside,
With gentle kisses in find a path to bliss,
x-rated thoughts ensue as I near my destination,
Zeroing in on your nest of Divinity, I pray.
Well, I just let my Queen read it first and she says it is beautiful. That’s all I needed to hear.
So now I will share it with the world, to honor her more.
