A Lesson from Toddlers

Live in the moment

If you are to learn one thing from toddlers, learn to live in the moment.

You can learn a lot by simply observing toddlers go about their day. They are always on the move — exploring, playing, and throwing around everything in sight.

Then when they enjoy something, they REALLY enjoy it! They are in the moment. If you ruin that moment for them, all hell breaks loose!

I recently witnessed a toddler “fight” where one baby took the other’s toy! They pushed each other and both cried!

They moved went in different directions and moved on to other toys. In less than two minutes from the fight, they were hugging each other!

They are pure. They are passion. They are love.

There are no grudges. There are no hidden agendas.

They are just in the present — living the moment.
