You play the piano with your thick fingers, which don’t look like such quick movers, Jazzy jazz, Jazzing beat,

You play the drum with your hoppy soul, snap smash clap, tumble crumble, juice, Jazzy jazz, Jig Zag jazz,

You play the sax with your smooth sexiness, a long low voice, melodious melancholy, Jazzy jazz, Jam Joke jazz,

You play the bass with your blue humming, close your eyes ’n’ listen to my music, Jazzy jazz, Jazzing rhyme,

I am a writer, you’re a musician, I write a poem as if I’m a musician, you play music like you’re a dreamer.
