A House Divided… By a Sauna
Adventures in flat pack

I am upstairs, my husband’s downstairs. Separating us is a sauna.
We started assembling it 3 hours ago. (It’s supposed to take 1 hour.) All the pieces were laboriously carried one at a time from the garage, through the kitchen, through the living room, “watch the cat!” and up the stairs.
We attached the front door, sidewalls, base, and back wall. I squeezed out from the alcove behind it. Then slide it back…
Except, it has nubby little “non-skid” feet. We have carpet. It doesn’t slide.
Magic Sliders! Except the ones we have are too small to go over the nubby feet.
Husband called all the 24-hour drug stores and grocery stores until he found one carrying Magic Sliders, and has gone to get them.
We are united in purpose, divided by property.
