A Food I’ve Not Tried Yet is a Popular Berlin Street Food

I’d love to eat a döner kebab one of these days

I’ve been told by people that they are similar to gyros that we eat in the United States but when I saw them the other day, they looked much more hearty.

The food is now most popular in Berlin, Germany, brought over by Turkish immigrants. There are apparently more döner kebab shops in Berlin than there are in Istanbul.

The meat is cooked on a vertical rotisserie and you know that the meat is coated with the best sauces and the freshest vegetables inside the wrap.

I can just imagine walking the streets of Berlin and having one of these delicious meals in my travels one of these days.

I just wish I didn’t have to travel so far.
