I didn’t know I had a flaw But now it troubles me no more

A flaw that was with me from birth A flaw that hid its deadly worth

And my Aortic valve would be In time, the cause of death for me

But now that flaw has gone away As learned folk came by my way

To cut me up and see my heart Replace the valve and see it start

And now a scar runs down my chest As witness to my greatest test

Now life is bright and I’m still here That flaw is gone and with it fear
