A Feeling That No One Can Explain
Some feelings are too loud for words and too shy for the world.

In the deepest ocean of my heart, Lies a feeling strange. A feeling that’s like an alien To me, Yet, it has prospered within me.
This feeling — I am unaware of, It is playing its tricks and tantrums. Every day, every night, every single second, It travels to the surface of my lips Yet it stops there. It peeps through my eyes, To see if it can survive, To see if it can flourish. It often asks me — For the perfect tune of my words. It craves the best tone of my voice. But I could never answer its question. I could never quench its thirst for life.
This feeling is strange. I don’t know, what it is, How did it form, How did it get to me, But it feels surreal to have this feeling.
This feeling….just remains a feeling, An emotion that’s lifeless A sentiment that I can feel, enact and dream of, But I can't explain. It keeps floating in the clouds of air Like the fragrance of musk, Or rose, Or Lily, Or Jasmine — I don’t know what fragrance that is. But it’s a familiar aroma, That everyone knows, Everyone loves. The perfume that becomes, The voice of our identity.
You know this feeling. I know this feeling. Yet everyone hides — not on purpose But everyone conceals it. So it remains hidden from the world. Its existence remains unexplained The secret it remains — From you, From me, That will never get a life to live.
That feeling will never get to you While I’m alive But the day I die The moment I breathe my last breath of life, This feeling will estrange me, It will travel, Magically towards you, To make its way through your senses, And penetrate deep within your heart.
The ocean of your heart, Will gracefully accept my feeling, As if it's your own, But I won’t be there, Alive, To see what it does to you What it makes you feel.
However, that feeling will behave the same way As it did with me. It’ll prosper within you, It’ll reach your lips, And peep through your eyes. As it won’t find the exact words As your tone and behavior won’t justify its importance, It’ll stay there forever, Troubling you.
This feeling….This damn feeling! No one knows how to explain, How to express, So, it always remains lifeless, Sitting on the brink of our lips, Wanting to find an existence, But chooses to hide inside us, Forever, And ever, until the day we die…
