A Fabulous Party And A Miracle Afterwards
Acknowledging with gratitude to the Almighty

Going to a birthday party
I was dressed up to go to my ex-student’s birthday. He was 27 years old and now works for a top consultancy firm. He had been my MBA student.
Every year he invited me to his birthday with some other friends of his. One middle-aged couple and I were a constant every year at his parties.
Of course, he had several parties and loved to celebrate his birthday every year.
This year he invited us to a newly opened restaurant called the Sitch Sky Bar.
He had given me a time of 5.30 PM
Punctually, he called me that his cab was 10 minutes away and hopefully I was ready to receive him.
The amazing venue and party
The bell rang and there was Anurag all ready and looking smart. Very excited he was ready to escort me.
I had offered to drive with him from my home. While driving we had an excited chatter about how he found one of the best restaurants listed in town and believe me I have never been to these places earlier.
As usual, he had invited us to one of the most happening and wonderful places. It was called the Sitch Sky Bar.
I loved the place. It was in the open air and also indoors. We went outside and took some pictures but it was too cold so we sat inside.
A happening place and the great food and company were amazing. It was fine dining. The staff was overly gracious.
We asked for a change of table three times and they were ready to change each time.
Their theme was midnight and it was dark. We requested lights and magically they appeared above our table. We wanted the music softer and they immediately made it soft. The gesture was so touching.
Just to show you the grandeur of the place I will add a photo that he took of one of the guests with me.

The outside was so grand that Shalini who was so fond of pictures suggested that we have to go out and take some photos. Our host Anurag took this picture above.
You have a grand view around. You can see lights, beautiful buildings, and the sky. Indeed it was very cold as it was open to the sky.
All the young people were outside having a drink, smoking or eating either alone or in the company of friends.
I wanted to go back in because I did not want to be in bed the next day nursing a cold. I excused myself and went in.
People sitting around wanted to know how cold it was outside. I did tell them to try going out but touching my cold hands in a handshake they decided not to go out.
It was 9.00 PM. After a fascinating and tasty food, I decided to leave. Everyone said see the crowd has just filed in and the night is young so stay on.
I decided to still leave because the fog just envelopes the place and it is difficult to drive through it in winter. You can barely see a few feet in front while driving.
They agreed to say goodbye to me because they wanted me to be safe.
Party over, I found my car parked in the parking in the basement of the Mall.
A miracle in my life
I had thoroughly enjoyed myself and was in a happy mood driving home. Just a little way off and closer to my home, on a wide road, unexpectedly, a car came and hit my driver’s side.
There was a loud bang and the car flew a little to one side and straightened. I saw the other car also move up and back in position.
I was shocked and was wondering what happened.
The side mirror had closed and the car was running. I saw from the corner of my eye that the other car was full of people. It looked like the whole family. The parents and there were three children at the back.
Since the car was moving and it was almost 9.50 PM and very dark and cold I did not stop.
I noticed that the other car was also moving and did not stop.
I immediately realized that it was a miracle. I was saved. I let go a big sigh and thanked God. I folded my hands and offered my gratitude to God. Thank you, God, I am safe.
I reached home, got out of my car, and saw that the right mirror had closed with the impact. There was no scratch, even the side mirror was intact. It had only banged and closed.
I was not hurt, nor did I have any pain in my body anywhere. I was safe and unhurt.
God had sent a guardian angel to keep me safe. Thank you, God.
Do you believe in miracles? Have you had any incidents that bring your faith in miracles?
Miracles do happen in our lives. Look at life closely. We must always be grateful when such miracles happen in our lives.
