A Cry For Help
A lonely plea lost in the noise — GiaB writing prompt #24 helping hands

She cried for help, and many answered reaching out in her distress, but one decided it was best to challenge her request.
Instead of consolation he offered blunt correction retribution for her “false beliefs”, false in his mind at least.
A cry for help became to him a false theology Somehow he believed if she would simply listen he could set her free from her “sin”.
And there were the others who offered something just as inane. They said, “You don’t need a priest. You can find God on your own just the same.”
They were quick to condemn the man for his unkind response and many called out the name of Jesus other voices simply lost.
So a desperate cry for help became a social media event with everyone intent on their opinion a firestorm of diatribe and comment.
In the end was she left, turned away in her distress, to attempt to reach her God alone? No one really knows.
A lonely plea lost in the noise, for lack of love and presence shown, issues in yet another game of thrones.
