I was very honoured when Dennett asked to use my photo of the apricot rose above as a monthly banner for Weeds & Wildflowers.

So, coming to you from across the miles, here is my tribute to you, Dennett, through photos.

I first started writing on Medium back in May and in my hunt for nature publications to submit my writing to, I found Weeds & Wildflowers.

Dennett created the Weeds & Wildflowers publication and I was immediately drawn to it. It is such a brilliant publication, full of like-minded people who love nature just as much as me, not least Dennett herself.

So, thank you to you for creating this wonderful place for us all.

Dennett, you have been such a wonderful inspiration to so many people.

To me, you’ve been so kind and encouraging. I have valued each and every comment you have made, all those uplifting words. It meant a lot.
