A Chance For You To Try Human Meat
The ultimate humanitarian question.
My mind is a wandering fortress. Once you start, I’ll end up wherever and it will be next to impossible to navigate back out.
Yet again, I’ve ended up asking myself a serious, yet strange question. Probably one of the strangest and most serious questions I’ve asked myself yet.
I’ll reveal my answer at the end, but I want to share this question with you all because I’ve had many mixed reactions when I ask people, but all are disgusted that I could think of such a question.
Who knows what you might find when you enter the fortress of Shamar’s mind?
Before we begin, I just want to let everyone know that I’m not a cannibal and I highly doubt I’ll ever find myself in such a horrid situation. Nonetheless, I am very interested to find out what others would do.
Without further ado, please consider the following scenario;
You’ve agreed to a non-invasive experiment that pays thousands of pounds and only requires ten minutes of your time.
You’re sitting in a room with a crazy scientist.
Imagine you’ve been given a nugget with meat inside. A glorious, crispy golden nugget that strongly resembles a chicken nugget.
You’re told to eat it, so you do. And it’s the best piece of food you’ve ever tasted in your life. It doesn’t require any seasoning, any dips, it’s just a euphoric piece of meat wrapped in crispy batter.
The dopamine in your brain is popping, your eyes are widened and it’s the best thing you’ve ever had. Nothing has topped this mysterious nugget.
Immediately, you want more. You’re then told that the meat inside the nugget is human meat. However, if you want more then you’ll be allowed a few more.
Please also consider that no one is around you, it’s just you alone with the crazy scientist. If you decided to have a few more, no one would know.
Would you eat more or would you say no, knowing it’s human meat?
My answer is yes. I would take more. I’m not a cannibal, I’m just a rebel (and a weirdo).
Does this make me less of a humanitarian than I should be? From my own perspective, I care a lot about people and their well-being, but maybe I don’t care enough if I’m willing to eat my own kind…
Most people I’ve asked are shocked when I ask them the question and, I just can’t help but laugh my head off. It’s one of the most interesting questions I’ve ever thought of in my life.
Loads of people say no, they wouldn’t take more. But what everyone needs to remember is that at that moment in time, your dopamine is kicking off, you can’t believe what you’ve just eaten and there’s no one around to judge you. You don’t have to tell anyone.
Other questions I’ve been asked are;
“What kind of human? Is it an adult?”
“How many nuggets do I get?”
“Am I allowed to sell them?”
There are people out there more messed up than me, I promise you.
So, on that note, would you eat human meat if you had a chance?
