Why I wrote such a wackadoodle story

I now get tagged in a couple of writing prompts every day. Most I have to let float right on by, but now and then one stirs the creative brain and I can’t help but drop whatever procrastination I’m doing and pound the keys.

And so it was.

Ah, inspiration, you slapdash muse. A writing friend prompts and instantly you have connected random dots: 25 assigned words and a distant memory of a buddy-system bathroom incident and my then 5-year-old son.

And so this story.

The words in bold were all I was given. I added a couple of my own because who says inspiration and creative word play have to stay within the rules.
