Summary

The website content reflects on how playing cards can evoke profound stories and memories from the depths of our subconscious, drawing parallels to historical events and the human experience.

Abstract

The text describes a moment of reflection while playing solitaire, which triggers vivid imagery reminiscent of historical tales, such as warring kings and refugee struggles. It suggests that our minds hold countless untold stories that can be unlocked by the simplest of prompts, like the randomness of a card game. These prompts do not require inherent meaning but serve as catalysts for the emergence of narratives from the subconscious, likened to parallel dimensions. The author, Jean Carfantan, founder of "Queen's Children," implies that these stories are part of the collective human memory and can be accessed through various triggers in our daily lives.

A Card Deck Landscape Triggers Stories Out of Nowhere

How cards expose some souvenirs from the folds of an unknown dimension

Playing solitaire after reading Tales of Ireland, I just stopped on a step, getting a sensation, As an image reaches my consciousness : Two kings warring in the plain, Refugees hiding in the mountains. A parallel story out of nowhere.

We bear millions of stories, We just don’t have enough time To explore and expose them. The slightest support of our attention Creates a new world from/in parallel dimensions. We meet triggers everywhere, They don’t need to have any meaning, — just to be, And their mere existence triggers The come back of an anonymous story From the folds of an unknown dimension.

Jean Carfantan is the founder of Queen’s Children about the Sacred Feminine.
