Write for Wildlife Trekker
Article Submission Guidelines

Welcome
Hello friend.
Wildlife Trekker seeks stories and images of wildlife worldwide.
Wildlife Trekker writers can be anyone. They are wildlife watchers, hikers, photographers, artists, or advocates. Any writer interested in wildlife is welcome.
What does Wildlife Trekker publish?
Wildlife Trekker stories feature wildlife in natural settings. We seek stories from your first-hand experience. Writers create them to entertain, inform, persuade, or inspire.
We prefer to publish draft stories rather than published content. If you have written a story that you would like to publish in Wildlife Trekker, and you have been added as a writer in the publication, please submit it as a draft.
Please apply these guidelines to your stories:
- Follow Medium’s rules.
- Include at least one well-composed photo of a wild animal as its main subject. Photos should be taken by you or other members of your party who were involved in the wildlife encounter.
- Edit stories to minimize spelling and grammatical errors. Some writers like to use tools like Grammarly and the Hemingway editor.
- Omit vulgarities, expletives, or cuss words.
- Submit unpublished draft stories.
What types of wild animals interest Wildlife Trekker readers?
Wildlife Trekker is interested in stories about wild animals in their natural settings. That means anything from a single-celled amoeba to a blue whale and anything in between.

The Roles of the Publisher and Editors
The publisher and editors of Wildlife Trekker reserve the right to edit stories in small ways. Examples include correcting spelling and minor grammatical or punctuation issues. Also, editors will do their best to preserve regional spellings (for example, theatre versus theater) and writing norms. We will contact you, the writer, about major story issues before publishing.
Wildlife Trekker strives to be a welcoming and friendly home for stories that cover personal encounters with wildlife. However, if the publisher or editors deem that a story does not match the publication’s goals, they may reject it or remove it from the publication.
Also, the editors will do their best to publish your story within 48 hours of submission.
If you have entertaining, inspiring, persuasive, or informative wildlife stories you would like to write and share, I would love to hear from you.
Cheers,
Randy Runtsch Publisher of Wildlife Trekker
