A poem of rememberance

Our picture hangs upon the wall for all to see Nestled in a group you and me and Henry Reflecting that special moment that we shared Who else can ever know the thoughts we dared The black and whites each a blend we knew Were of the clothes we wore and those old beat-up shoes Our smiles with chins held high Reflecting back a clouded streak in front the bluest sky We had that young pretentious glow within our eyes Who ever thought someday that one of us would die We are so lucky to be cast upon this canvas so Three friends a glow…if only we knew then what we now know.
