How I Found the Perfect Gift for Someone Who Claims to Want Nothing.
A Sensible Idea:
I felt stuck trying to find the perfect gift for someone who says she does not need anything. She had already received her most desired gift from her husband — a fishing trip. She suggested maybe donating to her local charity would be a great gift. Then I thought about her love for animals.
Her Barn kitties:
She inspires me with her kind heart, as she not only adores her five adult, mouse-catching cats, but also goes above and beyond to rescue five little kittens from being sent to a shelter.
Not only that, but she also instills in her grandchildren the value of loving and caring for animals. It’s heartwarming to witness such compassion and kindness towards our furry friends.
Preparing for their fishing trip:
The family was preparing for their much-awaited fishing trip.
I offered to feed & take care of their farm animals: three dogs, five adult cats, and five new kitties during their absence.
The plan was to have the twelve-week-old kittens neutered when the owners returned from their trip.
However, I suggested that spaying the two female cats while they were away would prevent the risk of pregnancy for the female kitties. I offered to take care of them and return them to the farm once they had fully recovered.
To my delight, she accepted my offer, and it was a perfect birthday gift!
I was delighted to help and contribute to a worry free, exciting fishing vacation while I took care of their furry family members.
The female cats get fixed!
Lynx and Zara, two adorable kitties, show us that nothing can slow them down. Even after being spayed at 13 weeks old, they continue to bring joy and entertainment as they eat & play with the same energy and enthusiasm.
The kitties are returned to the barn:
I felt sad when I had to take the kitties back to the barn on the farm. However, I was happy to know the birthday gift was fulfilled, and the kitties were returned to their caring owner, who was grateful for my gift to her.
